Place-Based Approaches and Communities
Whilst many of we can move’s programmes can provide support across Gloucestershire, our place-based working is a more targeted approach, working with Sport England to build capacity and capability in local communities within Gloucestershire to reap the benefits of living more active lives
Our place partnerships:
Through our work with Sport England on their place partnerships investment, we have targeted work in Cinderford (Forest of Dean District) and in Coney Hill, Matson, Robinswood, Linden, Tuffley, Podsmead, Barton and Tredworth (Gloucester City District).
You can find out more about this work in our Cinderford and Gloucester pages.
Support across the county
Although we have targeted work in some communities, we also support wider place-based approaches through our learning reports, communities of practice, strengths based awareness sessions and whole systems approaches.
A story of working differently
